Yushima Tenman-gū Shrine
Today we went to Yushima Tenman-gū Shrine. This is the most famous Shinto shrine of scholars in Tokyo, not faraway from the district of Ueno, and it is devoted to the Kami of Learning.
Above you can see the usual bundles of small wooden votive tablets that hang on special racks in front of the shrine bearing petitions for success in examinations. Perhaps I will need doing it by the next months ;-) Hopefully it works!
