Italy earthquake

Today a strong 6.5 magnitude earthquake has struck near Norcia and destroyed many towns in central Italy (have a look at this USGS page). I very much hope that the losses are limited.

This fault is so large and unusual for Italy that reminds me some strong Japanese earthquake...
